DESCRIPTION
Burritt's Rapids is a small island community on the Rideau River. It is joined to the north by a stationary bridge, and to the south by an old fashioned swing-bridge, which is operated by hand. The Burritt's Rapids Branch of the North Grenville Public Library is located in the renovated Bridgemaster's House on the "island" and offers traditional library services in a quaint, old-fashioned atmosphere.
