Read below to read our circulation policies and fees, effective September 29, 2005.


Membership Cards: FREE (North Grenville Residents)
Non-Resident Membership Fees: $40/household; $25/individual
Replecement Membership Card: $3


Loan Period: 3 weeks
Video Loan Period: 1 week
Maximum Number of Loans: 25

Library materials can be returned at any of our four branches during regular library hours or deposited in any of the drop boxes conveniently located outside of each branch.


Maximum Number of Holds: 20
Items on Hold Will be Held: 1 week
Renewal Period: Same as Loan Periods above
No Renewals on Items with Holds

You may renew your materials in the library, by phoning us or on-line through your library account. If something you want is checked out at the moment or at one of our other branches, you may ask the library staff to place a hold on it for you; you may also place your own hold through your your library account.

Replacement Fees: A patron will be charged the cost of the item as indicated in the database for lost or damaged material. If no cost is indicated a default of $25 will apply. A $5 processing fee will be applied to all charges for lost or damaged material.


Fines are Counted on Open Days Only
Adult: 25¢ per day
Children: No charge
Grace Period: 1 day
Loss of Circulation Privileges with 5 overdue items or $20 in overdue fines.
Interloan Books $1 per day with no grace period and all days counted.


Photocopying: 15¢ per page
Computer Printing (BubbleJet): 25¢ per page
Computer Printing (Laser - Kemptville only): 50¢ per page
Colour Printing: $1 per page
Computer Disk: $1 each
