RESERVE A COMPUTER
Need to use a computer? Call the branch to reserve a computer. Patrons can
use the computers up to three times a week. Each session is
to exceed no more than 55 minutes. NOTE: The Library neither accepts nor recognizes interbranch reservations. You must call the individual branch you will be visiting. If the branch is closed when you call, you will need to wait until they are open to place your reservation.
CHILDREN'S COMPUTER
The North Grenville Public Library is proud to offer two children's computers at the Kemptville Branch. Reservations can be made by calling 258-4711.
The computer features TumbleBook Library: e-books for e-kids! TumbleBooks are animated, talking picture books which teach kids the joy of reading in a format they'll love. TumbleBooks are created by taking existing picture books, adding animation, sound, music and narration to produce an electronic picture book which you can read, or have read to you.
There are over 30 books to choose from; games and quizzes to facilitate learning; and puzzles that use pictures from the books themselves. Visit the Kids' Corner for more information on TumbleBooks!
Internet waivers must be signed by a parent or caregiver before a child is allowed on the computer.
For more information please call Sue Higgins at 258-4711.
