The 10th Annual North Grenville Book Fair is scheduled for October 17-19,
2013.
Book donations will be accepted on the following dates: June 8, July 6, August 3, September 7, and October 5, from 10-2 pm at the Ferguson Forestry Centre. We accept Fiction, Non-Fiction; Adult & Children’s Books; Books on Tape, and DVDs. Books in good condition please. Our sale is only as good as the donations we get. Books that are damp, mouldy, or smelly, have torn covers, missing pages, or have been nibbled on by the family pet cannot be sold. Please recycle these books yourself. Friends Celebrate 10th Anniversary at the New Library
The Friends of the North Grenville Public Library celebrated their 10th Anniversary with a lovely reception at the North Grenville Public Library, Norenberg Building on November 27, 2011.
Specials awards were handed out to the following individuals who have helped to make this community a very special place through their support of the library.

Friends donated a thousand
dollars for the purchase
of special tote bags which
were distributed during the
official opening of our new
library. Four hundred fifty
Friends brochures were also
included in the tote bags.
OPP BBQ nets $759.00
Again this past summer,
Friends was invited by the
local OPP detachment to
partake of one of its summer
BBQs. EMC, thanks to Ashley
Kulp, furnished the food
and drinks. Fran Thompson,
Jean Kilfoyle, Roberta
Russell, and Patrick Babin
provided backup. We appreciate
Cathy Lindsay’s continued
support. Friends of the NGPL Receives Civics Award
The Friends of the NGPL received the Civics Award in the Arts & Culture category on April 27, 2009. The award was presented to Pat Babin and the steering committee by Barb Tobin, Councillor.
