Annual Children's Holiday Concert
This Friends-sponsored event is provided at no charge to the children of North Grenville between Christmas and New Year’s. Rave reviews follow the concert every year. Audience participation, expecially among the young, is very much a part of the program. Although admission is gratis, each family is encouraged to donate a non-perishable food item for the Salvation Army Food Bank.

This annual event is held at the North Grenville Municipal Centre Theatre in late December.



Canada Day Parade 2010
The Friends Canada Day Float, Destination Jungle, won first prize in the Non-Commercial category.



Two intrepid explorers discover the Jungle in the Friends Float, based on the TD Summer Reading Program Destination Jungle.





Dandelion Festival 2010
The Friends hosted a Mad Hatter's Tea Party in collaboration with Victorian Pantry and held a hat making contest at the Room to Read Office. Here are some of the children wearing their hats, waiting for the judging.
