Friends' Projects:
Library Programs
Providing reading and arts programs to the children of North Grenville is one of our top priorities! Read more...

Book Chat for Pre-Teens
Friends continue to subsidize paperback purchases for the young bibliophiles who belong to Tween the Lines, for ages 9-11, and Book Chat, for ages 12+.

Both book clubs are coordinated by Children’s Librarian Sue Bergeron. Read more about the Library's book clubs.

Summer Reading Club
The Friends also sponsor the Library's TD Summer Reading Club. The Reading Club promotes the fun of reading to young Canadians and encourages them to visit their library during the summer months. The program has a simple, recreational and creative approach that offers children a structured reading environment and rewards their personal achievements.

The program fosters the development of the reading habit and helps students retain what they have learned in school.

ER Library Fund
Friends have established the ER Library Fund which acknowledges the contribution made by the four talented ER musicians who entertain at the annual Children’s Holiday Concert. The funds are used to purchase children’s music CDs for the library collection.
