DESCRIPTION
The Kemptville Branch Library (ca. 1912) was one of many
"Carnegie Libraries" originally funded by philanthropist Andrew
Carnegie. The Kemptville Branch, which was declared a heritage building in 2001, still proudly displays a portrait of Andrew Carnegie
atop one of its many bookcases.The most popular of all North Grenville Public Library branches, the Kemptville Branch is located in the heart of downtown Kemptville.
SPECIAL SERVICES
The Kemptville Branch offers many services, including three
public access computers, a collection of large-print books,
a large and inviting children's library (housed in the basement),
as well as a computer available to the public for searching
the North Grenville Public Library's vast catalogue of library
