NetLibrary offers libraries and organizations around the world a collection of ebooks, making it possible for you to access a wide range of research, reference and reading materials online. EBooks are easy to use, and are accessible from any location, once an account has been set up. To do this, you must first come into a library, where the helpful staff will guide you through the process.

AUDIOBOOKS - NEW!
The North Grenville Public Library is now offering downloadable AudioBooks. These are digital versions of audiobooks that are available through NetLibrary on the Internet. They can be played on any desktop or portable device supporting Windows Media Player, version 9.0 and above. You can also transfer titles to a wide range of portable devices, including portable music players, portable media centres, Pocket PCs and even select smartphone devices.Through the NGPL’s NetLibrary you have access to over 700 Audiobooks; everything from biographies and classics to bestselling authors such as Tami Hoag, Sue Grafton, Robert Parker, Lisa Gardener and many more. Well known children’s authors such Phillip Pullman, Jonathan Stroud, Eoin Colfer and Meg Cabot all have titles listed.
The checkout period for AudioBooks, through NetLibrary, is 7 days and you may renew. When you download the AudioBook NetLibrary automatically transfers a license to your portable device that will allow you to access the audiobook for the 3 weeks. You can choose CD quality (for high-speed Internet connections) or radio quality (for those with dial-up access).
In order to access NGPL’s NetLibrary visit any of our 4 branches. You can access NetLibrary from our public access computers and create an account. Once you have created an account you can log in to our library’s collection from any computer with Internet access.
