DESCRIPTION
South Gower is named after the Hon. John Leveson Gower,
Lord of the Admirality. On March 26, 1834 South Gower became
a municipality. On January 1, 1998, South Gower joined Oxford-on-Rideau
and Kemptville to become North Grenville. The South Gower Branch, built in 1995, is the newest branch of the North Grenville Public Library.
SPECIAL SERVICES
South Gower is a bright, fresh new building that offers patrons
reading chairs and work tables. South Gower also features a
cute kids' corner (including a new Children's Computer!), one
public access computer, and a large on-going book sale with
