Computers & Internet

The North Grenville Public Library has nine public access computer stations equipped with FREE wireless Internet connections.
Patrons simply need to complete a waiver form before using the Internet Workstation for the first time. These forms are to be given to the circulation desk when completed. Various sofware programs are also available, including MIcrosoft Office (which includes MS FrontPage and MS Publisher), Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing and basic Windows Accessories. Programs vary depending on computer and/or branch.

Wireless (Wifi) access now available at the library. You may bring your laptop in to use at the library.

Reserve A Computer

The public demand for our public access computers is always increasing. As such, patrons may no longer be able to drop in the Library and obtain immediate access to one of our computer stations.

We strongly suggest that you call the branch ahead of time (up to a week in advance) to reserve a computer. This will significantly reduce your "wait time." Patrons can use the computers up to three times a week. Each session is to exceed no more than 55 minutes.

NOTE: The Library neither accepts nor recognizes interbranch reservations. You must call the individual branch you will be visiting. If the branch is closed when you call, you will need to wait until they are open to place your reservation.
