The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
by Ann Brashares

Reviewed by Carrie, 17

I actually signed this out from the library for a paper I was writing on the decline of reading for teenaged girls. I ended up staying awake the entire night to finish it. But instead of hating it, I LOVED it! It was sweet and sad and funny... Needless to say, I totally bombed my essay!!
Harry Potter & the Philosopher's Stone
by J.K. Rowling

Reviewed by Eric, 15

This book was on my kid sister's bookshelf, but I just ignored it. I mean, it's a kids book right? Well, one weekend I was stuck with nothing to do and decided to give it a try. I really liked it. Now I can't wait to read the next in line!! (I just bought all the movies, too!)
A Walk To Remember
by Nicolas Sparks

Reviewed by Dashawna W., 16

A Walk To Remember is an amazing, sad but really good book. If I had to rate it out of a ten I would say a ten. It has an amazing ending that leaves you breathless. I never wanted to put the book down, I wanted to finish it as soon as possible. Doesn't everyone want that kind of book? Read this you won't regret it!
Twilight

Well, I guess everybody's already read this, but if you haven't, I definitely recommend it. Stephenie's writing is AMAZING!!! I love the way she doesn't go into boring detail and gets right to the point, her description of the characters is also fab, can't wait for breaking dawn!
This Lullaby

Reviewed by Casandra T., 15

This Lullaby is a great book for any teen girl. It teaches girls how open up and love even though all you've seen is heartache. This book will make you laugh, cry, be happy, and be mad but all in all It's a great book.
Cirque-du-Freak Series
by Darren Shan

Reviewed by Bobbie, 16

This series is totally awesome! Its gruesome, fun and best of all its about vampires. There is very little love scenes, so for those of you who are getting sick of the vampire love stories this would be a good series to read. This series also has alot of symbolism in it. Darren Shan does an amazing job tying in all the books together. I would definitely have to say all the books are good but my favs are Lake of Souls(book 10) and Sons of Destiny (book 12) and if you've already read some of Darren Shans stuff check out his other series, Demonata. There is also a movie of the first 3 books coming out in '09.

This book was so good! Alot of the vampires books nowadays have a new perpective on vampires and this is one of those books. It has alot to do with teenagers and fitting in just with the concepts of vampires being involved. P.C. Cast definitely does a great job at keeping your attention and the rest of the series only gets better.
Vampire Diaries
by L.J. Smith

This series was really good. Anyone interested in vampires would mostly likely enjoy this. It's a series about the battle of two vampire brothers over a vampire and then a mortal that looks like the vampire from a thousand years earlier. It has alot of excitement and is also a love story. It's a four book series.
Night World
by L.J. Smith

Reviewed by Bobbie, 16

This series is a combination of supernaturals, such as witches, vampires etc. Its three stories in one and there is a total of 3 books. This is quite a new series and revolves around soulmates. Most of the characters fall for a mortal which is against the law of the night world. So each character must find away to keep their lives a secret or it could mean death. L.J Smith keeps you interested throughout the book and many characters intertwine within the stories.

This is the first book to the series. This series has a combination of vampires and werewolves. When the only girl werewolf decides to leave her pack to fit in with the human world she has some trouble when it comes time to change. And as a problem arises with her pack she realizes her place. Because she is the only female werewolf, many werewolves want to mate with her to have full breeds. When mutts begin terrorizing and killing she must help, but then she realizes they are doing this to get to her. This book series is supenseful and has a little bit of action, love etc, in it.
Vampire Kisses
by Ellen Schreiber

This series is a love story but also has some action in it to. When an outcast, Raven falls for a vampire, rumors spread around the town. Then unexpectedly Alexander leaves. Raven feels obligated to find him and ends up meeting some of his old friends. Thats when the trouble starts. They plan to turn a mortal into a vampire without his knowledge. This series is very suspenseful and it also has anime books. Both are really good and I definitely couldn't put these books down!

The Ask and The Answer
by Patrick Ness

Reviewed by Anna, 13

This novel was amazing, both an eye opener and page turner. With tense, shocking and deeply moving moments Patrick cleverly captures the emotions and pain that often torment Todd and Viola. The amazing cliffhanger that we are left on from 'The Knife of Never Letting go' concludes but changes the way both Todd and Viola live. With their friendship torn apart and the hard work they will see to, they continue life in what is now home. With strange happenings and mysterious bombs, it's time to fight, and with a third party materialising problems are only made worse...The suspense in this book was unbeatable, and yet again Patrick manages to deliver another mind drilling cliffhanger. I can't wait to read the final, concluding novel of the 'Chaos Walking Series'!
